This incident caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
